Jay Rosenbloom, MD, PhD
Jay Rosenbloom, MD, PhD is the Medical Director of the Children’s Health Alliance & Foundation and leads the organization in implementing quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Rosenbloom earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1996. He also earned a Ph.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University in the Department of Cell Biology studying molecular and cellular biology. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Arizona in 1999. Jay has served as chair of the Children’s Health Foundation’s Immunization Workgroup since 2009 and initiated the Adolescent Immuniztion Initiative in 2012. Outside the Foundation Jay chaired the workgroup that wrote, sponsored and submitted 2013 legislation to change Oregon vaccine exemption law and is active in teaching parents, families and medical providers about vaccines, working with Boost Oregon. Jay practices medicine at Pediatric Associates of the Northwest P.C. in Tigard, Oregon.
